Coastal and Moorland Walks
Machrie Moor Standing Stones and Wildlife (Half Day)
Be
transported back to the Bronze Age and discover the ancient megalithic
landscape of Machrie Moor. The moor is also a rich habitat for wildlife
and a great place to watch birds. Easy walking
Cock of Arran Coastal Walk (Full Day)
Explore
the remote and rocky shore of the Cock of Arran, the location of the
famous geological feature, Hutton's unconformity. This coastline is an
excellent place to watch wildlife and highlights include marine mammals
and birds, red deer, and if we are lucky, the enigmatic golden eagle. Moderate to rough walking along remote shoreline and across moorland.
Mountain Hikes and Scrambles
The Three Beinns (Full Day)
traverse of the Three Beinns is Arran's classic ridge walk with spectacular views of the fine ridges and deep glens of the Goatfell Range. The terrain is wild and remote and home to ravens, eagle and red deer. Hiking in mountainous terrain, steep ascents and descents.

Goatfell Hike (Full Day)
Arran's highest peak climbs to 874 metres and the views from the top are well worth the effort. Although it falls short of Munro status, Goatfell is a Corbet and we start from sea level, making an ascent a worthy challenge! Hiking in mountainous terrain on well made paths with steep ascent and descent.
Goatfell Stacach Scramble (Full Day)
Traverse the knobbly ridge of Stacach between Goatfell and North Goatfell with an experienced Mountain Leader to guide you. The views are fabulous, the granite is rough and grippy and the sense of achievement is immense. Challenging terrain with some exposed and steep sections.
North Glen Sannox Horseshoe (Full Day)
A magnificent day out on the hill that tackles steep terrain in a remote part of the Goatfell Range. The names of the peaks ring with legend; we will ascend Caisteal Abhail and traverse the famous Sleeping Warrior before crossing the Witches Step of Ceum Na Cailllich. Challenging terrain with some exposed and steep sections.
Coire Fhionn Lochan (Half Day)
Literally "Corrie of the fair lochan", this beautiful place is well named! On a calm day, this place is one of the most tranquil and serene locations on Arran, with fabulous views across the Kilbrannan sound and as far as Jura. Hiking in mountainous terrain on well made paths with steep ascent and descent.
