Hire of Mountain Leader. If you require transport to the start of the walk or packed lunches these can be booked in advance and supplied at cost.

 

 

What to Bring?

The weather can be changeable and it is important to be well equipped. It can also be considerably cooler near the summits than at sea level. These kit lists are for an average day in summer conditions. If you require advice on equipment please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Some equipment may be available to borrow.

 

Half Day Walks:

Sturdy footwear

Warm clothing layers

Waterproof jacket

Drink and a snack

Binoculars (optional, available to borrow on request)

 

Full Day Walks

Hiking boots (preferably already broken in!)

Warm clothing layers (not cotton)

Waterproof jacket and trousers

Small day sack containing:

Packed lunch and plenty to drink

Sunscreen and sun hat

Warm hat and gloves

Binoculars (optional, available to borrow on request)
